Testimonials

"Working with Destin has been amazing. They're very communicative and were ready to hop onto the prompt I gave them very quickly. So far in the process, she has been such a pleasure to communicate and work with. Genuinely so sweet! :))" - Antumbra, Commissioner via Discord, 2026

About
The Artist

I'm Destin and I'm a self taught artist originally from Seattle, WA, and currently residing in Corvallis, Oregon. I specialize in Acrylic painting and Digital illustration, but am familiar with a variety of mediums, techniques, styles, and subjects. My art journey started at a young age as a way for me to cope with my mental health issues and trauma, but what started as a way to cope and vent blossomed into a passion for artistic creation in all forms, and eventually motivated me to start selling my artwork professionally in 2018.I've been selling paintings & illustrations, commissions, prints, stickers, and more since then, and hope to continue on for the rest of my life.My landscape paintings are a way for me to connect with nature and honor it in a way that I can enjoy it from home, as I struggle with chronic pain and am unable to go hiking like used to. I grew up hiking through nature trails in Oregon and Washington with my family, and nature feels like my true home. Painting my favorite nature spots that I can remember is a way for me to find happiness when things inside feel dark.I also still utilize my art as a way to vent. I was diagnosed with CPTSD at a young age, and was diagnosed with a DID in 2020, and utilize my art as a way to share my feelings around my trauma in a way that feels safe so that my feelings don't eat me alive. I don't share most of these works, but some are available on my instagram.I've been creating content surround my art and activism to raise awareness around stigmatized mental health and physical conditions such as Bipolar, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and more.I hope that my art connects with you, and you consider supporting my creative endeavors!
